Berlin and our old friend :)

The sense of relief we gained from being on the ICE train out of Prague to Berlin cannot be described with words. No offence, but we do miss the first world experience though we were just students! Prague is amazing and cultural, but we just miss something slightly more familar as well. Can't blame us after the Harry Potter train and terrible hostel experience?

Nicole oh Nicole, how we miss you!

 

Nicole is friend of ours from being in Singapore during her student exchange in 2006. When I responded to her request for placement in Asia, she thought that Singapore was part of China! And she looked up the map immediately. Anyway, she took the leap of faith and came! She was placed in KKH in Singapore.

 

As Nicole had exams during the period we were in Berlin, we roamed around on our own most days, and Nicole had kindly spent a day with us, also allowing us to sleep on her couch for free, with lovely weekend breakfast! :)
